Testimonials

  • “Simply put Marcus was absolutely sensational. We had booked Marcus for a 3 hour slot at our wedding to play to our guests as they arrived at the venue, and to play in the background during our wedding breakfast. His communication throughout from the day we booked him was excellent. He arrived early, no fuss, set up and started to play. To be honest I didn't even see him arrive he just did. He started to play in the venue but as the weather was so hot everyone was outside, so he just came out played outside and performed again no fuss. We sat down for our wedding breakfast and he performed in the background. Not overpowering just very nice background music. His repertoire of songs is first class and includes loads of well known songs by big artists. Marcus performs these songs with his own spin perfectly. We had also asked at short notice if he could learn one or two other songs to play on the day which he did no problem at all. One Man, One Guitar, One fantastic Voice. If you want to introduce some class to your event then you must book this man. Thank you Marcus for helping us make our day a truly memorable one (10/10)” - Nat & Glenn

  • “Where do I begin. I am a self confessed perfectionist but when I started planning our wedding I was looking for a singer during our drinks reception and wedding breakfast. Marcus was AMAZING. If you want perfection but are unsure or in doubt, book Marcus and you will not be let down. He was truly brilliant. Set up on time, all of our guests commented on his performance and how amazing he was. We were gutted when it had to end. Thank you Marcus, you were brilliant!” - Jade (wedding)

  • “After researching various places for a solo guitarist/singer for our private function we found Marcus. From initial contact through to performing on the day he was accommodating, helpful and an excellent performer. He even learned new material especially for us and played several sets into the night. I don't normally give such a high rating for things but I am unable to find fault with everything he did and all of our guests commented on how great he was so the rating is justly deserved and I have no hesitation in recommending him and would certainly use him again. Thank you Marcus.” - Gordon Mitchell (Private Garden Party)

  • “Dear Marcus, It was a pleasure to have you sing and play at my Birthday Party. Your voice and tone was absolutely perfect for my event. Everybody thought that you were fabulous young and old. Lucy in her twenties was amazed getting you to play Snow Patrol with zero practice and Hildergard 90+ loved your song choice and guitar playing !! My boys in their 30s thought you were super cool and I was thrilled with my special songs and a rendition of Happy Birthday. It was lovely and we will definitely book you again. With very kind wishes for much success in your career and many more happy memories - Jenny Lane (Private party)

  • “Marcus really made our perfect day complete, he sang and played guitar doing three sets throughout the day, and did an outstanding job. All of our guests have commented on how good he was and how it made the day that bit more special. We would highly recommend Marcus to anyone, nothing was too much trouble for him, he even learnt a new song for us. Thank you once again - Ash & Cobie (Wedding)

  • “Marcus sang for us at a private dining party. He gave us a very good range of songs and his style was perfect for our evening. Marcus is a very personable guy and was very laid back about the arrangements. All our guests enjoyed his singing and we even did some dancing. Marcus helped to make this a very special evening - Private party, Cambridge

  • “Marcus kept us entertained brilliantly all evening with his large repertoire of favourite songs. He arrived early with his entire PA system and was friendly efficient to deal with throughout. I would thoroughly recommend Marcus if you are looking for a troubadour that you can trust, who will perform beautifully and almost certainly leave your crowd wanting more! - Ned Trier (staff party)
